What should I put in AI character settings?
Describe identity, personality, voice, background and the relationship with the user. Public introductions help people discover the character; dialogue behavior belongs in the character settings.
Can I use the same character idea in a story?
Yes. Write a story character based on that idea, with a place in its world and relationships. Standalone characters and story characters are separate content, so they are created in their respective editors.
How do creator coin rewards work?
Eligible public characters and stories can earn in‑app coins when other people experience them. Eligible creations can also enter in‑app auctions. Current eligibility and reward rules are shown in the app; coins are virtual rewards.
How are stories different from AI characters?
A standalone AI character has its own chat with you. A story brings multiple characters into one shared setting, where each character can be AI or a real person. Friends join within stories.
Can my friends join the same story?
Yes. Invite friends into a story room and choose who takes each available character. Each story character can be assigned to AI or a real person, so you can explore together.
Can AI characters reply with images or voice?
AI characters can reply with images, and AI messages can be read aloud across Plotto platforms. Image generation is also available in the app.
Can I start in my browser?
Yes. Open the Plotto web app, choose a character or story, and begin there. The links on this page take you directly to the web app.
